Lif3 Trade quickly became the preferred perpetual DEX on the Fantom blockchain, with over $1 billion in trading volume within the first two months. This success was driven by our dedication to creating a user-friendly, secure, and innovative trading environment.
Our approach to UI/UX for Lif3 Trade focused on creating an intuitive and engaging user experience. We conducted extensive user research to understand the needs and preferences of the DeFi community, which informed the design of a clean, user-friendly interface.
The platform's design seamlessly integrates all the features of standard Perpetual DEX, whilst simplifying the user journey into an accessible and aesthetically pleasing layout.
By prioritizing simplicity and usability, we ensured that users could navigate the platform effortlessly, enhancing their overall trading experience.
The development process for Lif3 Trade was centered on building a robust and scalable platform. Our team implemented 2 pricing oracles; Chainlink and Pyth, to cross reference and make sure that pricing was always accurate.
Additionally, we fine-tuned the intervals to submit pricing to the smart contracts, which was a balance between gas cost savings and safety of pricing updates, to ensure the protocol ran smoothly and profitably.
Rigorous testing protocols were employed at every stage to ensure the platform's performance, security, and reliability. This meticulous development process resulted in a high-performing DeFi platform that meets the evolving needs of its users.
Perpetual DEXs became popular after the collapse of FTX, where users wanted a safe and transparent place to trade futures of their favorite tokens.
With this in mind, we designed the layout to be friendly for traders accustomed to centralized exchanges, adding tooltips and tips throughout the web app to assist them on their journey.
We implemented a support dashboard with guides on using the platform.
To make trading fun, we introduced a leaderboard showcasing users with the highest returns, fostering an encouraging community environment.
We developed a suite of dynamic marketing collateral for Lif3 Trade to enhance its visibility and engagement on social media that showcased key features, detailed infographics that explained complex DeFi concepts, and visually striking announcement cards to highlight major updates.
Each piece was meticulously designed to align with Lif3 Trade’s branding, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable presence across all social platforms.
To boost interaction and community engagement, we implemented a trade leaderboard, which incentivized users to trade more. Contests and the user's results encouraged users to share their experiences online and with their peers/friends and engage more deeply with Lif3 Trade.Polls were created to gauge user preferences and knowledge.These engagement pieces not only sparked user participation but also fostered a sense of community and loyalty amongst users.
